Could I please ask what the name of the pattern is that you are using for Neil's sweater and where you got the pattern from? Its awesome. A little bit of cabling, kind of a shawl collar without being overly shawl. Looks like a pattern that satisfies the knitter but yet would be something a guy would actually wear.
Also, what yarn are you using?

I've said it before, but it bears repeating: Jacob is adorable! That's quite a handsome sweater. Good choice!

Hi Amy, I have just browsed trough your complete blog. You have made some amazing knits, the pictures are so beautiful and your son is such a sweet and charmy little one.
The Birdseye shawl is a masterpiece and the color is perfect for you.

Nice sweater. It reminds me of a pattern in one of the Jamieson's Knitting Books that I have in the back of my mind for me. The dropped sleeves are going to seem incredibly easy compared to set-in sleeves. The main problem I have with them is measuring, because you really don't know where the dropped part falls on the shoulder until you block the body.

I can't wait for Rhinebeck either. We had a wonderfully cool sequence of days this week, and it almost felt like fall was here already.

I really like how the sweater is looking. The yarn goes really well with that stitch pattern.

I love how that Sidewinder looks! I'm anxious to start a pair myself now.

And yay, Rhinebeck! I'm so excited to go, too! I can't believe it's already right around the corner.
