New Knitty is up! (And I have something in it!)

Hi all!

Long time no see, eh? I’ve been a busy bee here, eternally knitting on something I hope to share with you before too much longer, putting the finishing touches on the Charles Collection, and starting up my fall teaching schedule.

A couple of weekends ago, I spent time teaching at the insanely fabulous Fiber College. My family decided to come with me and when I wasn’t teaching we enjoyed the beautiful stretch of Maine coastline where Fiber College is held. It was more like a getaway than like work!

This coming weekend, I’m returning to Seed Stitch in Salem to offer another Fit to Flatter class there. Incredibly, there are still a couple of spots left open so if you’d like to join us, call the store!

And yesterday, I made my Knitty debut with a cardigan I showed here awhile back: Vignette.

You can find all of the details on the Knitty pattern page. Such a fun fall so far!

  1. I love your cardigan, and agree that the structural details (that you note on the pattern page) make it one that will both fit and last!

  2. It’s gorgeous Amy! It looks so soft and feminine. Very pretty!

  3. Congrats! I’m so bummed that I don’t get to meet you in person, yet again. The spots at Fiber Space went fast..:[. Next time!

  4. How did I miss this?! I thought there was nothing I wanted to make in the new Knitty. I guess I didn’t look very carefully. This is exactly my style. I love it! Thanks for sharing it. I’m really glad it showed up in my blog reader!

  5. Your new cardigan is exactly what I have been looking for. I am so in love with it and I started knitting last night. Not very much knitting, but I am enthused!! Thank you for a gorgeous pattern!!!

  6. Oooh, love Vignette! I’ve got some yarn almost the same colour which I’ve been waiting to use – perhaps this will be the one? I’ve some time next week, and can’t help feeling a swatch or two coming on!

  7. Vignette is *gorgeous*.

  8. What a great cardigan!
