I have lots of news–a new pattern in the current Twist Collective, tons of workshops going on this fall to tell you about, sharing the projects that have been keeping me busy–but for today, I’d like to just give a quick peek at the productive couple of weeks I’ve spent watching some amazing athletes.
That is: One sweater (complete), one sweater back (halfway there!), and one hat (complete). Whew! Not that I can share any of them with you except in this highly not-useful angle, but you’ll see them before too long, I promise. And I should have something on the needles very soon that can be shared.
So that’s that! What did you knit during the games? And stay tuned later this week for a post on Sapwood, and another on my fall classes.

Oooh, your projects are gorgeous colours! I can’t wait to see what they look like when you’re able to reveal them.
I didn’t knit during the Olympics, but I did crochet a top, which you can see on my blog.
Loving that gorgeous chocolate color … can’t wait to see what you’re doing with that. BTW, I did a post of your Caulfield pattern before we went away (just so you know
I miss the Olympics already! It did wonders for my productivity. Also: tweed sweater! I am ready for tweedy fall sweaters, even though fall doesn’t really start in Houston until sometime in November.
