Is it fall yet?!
There’s not even a tiny hint of that crisp deliciousness in the air here, yet, but that doesn’t stop me from dreaming about it! And with my wishes for fall come about a billion sweater daydreams. Cables and textures and pockets and deep cozy collars…
…that’s right, it’s time for the next Year of Sweaters KAL, the Fall Festival KAL:
This is always one of my favorite KALs, and judging by previous years’ participation, it’s your favorite too! There’s something so special about those first few days you pull out your woolly, warm hand-knits each fall. So I schedule this KAL to be nice and long, to let us all wallow in that gorgeous sweater goodness.
Details are similar to past KALs:
- The KAL runs from August 15 – November 15, and any sweater created with CustomFit, or one of my designs, counts.
- You can participate by posting along in our Ravelry thread, and/or on social media with the hashtag #ffkal.
- I’ll choose a winner at the end of the KAL to receive 2 months of free maker-plus subscription to CustomFit and a 30-minute personal consultation with me.
I’ve got several big plans, starting with finishing those sweaters I’d meant to wrap up during the SSKAL!
And continuing with about a billion cabled sweaters – I’m excited to design with cables this fall, and I have some utterly cable-licious yarn to use for the sweaters I’ve been sketching. And, I probably have a few more things up my sleeve, too. The big question is: How many sweaters can I wear at a single fiber festival, anyway?
