Featured materials: Berroco Vintage, shown in color “Sloe Berry”

Gauge: 20 sts and 26 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Stockinette Stitch

Description: The elegant lace panels of this hoodie remind me of the clean lines of Doric columns found in classic Greek architecture. The sweater style can be flattering for both straight and curvy knitters, with waist shaping worked int eh Stockinette stitch portions of the front and back. The double-ended zipper allows the cardigan to be worn several different ways.

Designed for: Proportional shapes

Modification ideas: Remember, you look best in clothes you love. That said, to keep in line with the Fit to Flatter system, Bottom-heavy shapes might consider shortening the ribbed section of the hem or working a folded hem. Top-heavy knitters might consider eliminating the hood and working a narrow, slight stand-up collar.

  1. For the hood shaping did you do any symmetrical decreases before your 3-needle bind off?
